On the first 2 hour long safari we were taken around the wild in a 4x4 to see 'the big 5'. Although we didn't see leopards we managed to see elephants, lions, Cape mountain buffalo and rhino. When we were on the drive we also managed to see animals such as zebras, hippos, giraffes and South African's national animal the springbok!
When we returned to the game reserve resort a few of us enjoyed the pool although it was extremely cold! After those who had been in the pool had almost died of hypothermia we all headed back the very swanky lodges and got ready for the buffet dinner and then a party at the 'boiz pad'. The meal was lovely and there was plenty for the picky eaters which is always a win. We then headed back to the boys room and partied to some pretty banging tunes🙋.
After hours of blaring music and Mr Clunie saying 'get on a says' every so often we all headed to bed to make sure we were ready to get up at half 6 the next morning to go on safari number 2. The morning safari was also great as we got a better view of the lions and leopards moving about. The morning breeze surely woke most of up and gave us a better appetite for the big buffet breakfast before we headed home.
