I have loved my Cape Town experience.
I originally wanted to go on the Cape Town trip because I wanted to see how people who have near to nothing compared to what I have at home. I felt like I could make a difference to people.
How I have changed? I have became more confident, as I was teaching some classes- I loved the experience of it.
When we went to the primary school we walked into a round of applause we then gave the school some sports equipment. Then we met the teachers in the staff room and then we helped out in the class.
We them had told them the Gruffalo story with the younger kids and then got them to draw there favourite character
For the experiment we did it with the older kids- we mixed corn flour with water to form a pressure dependent substance which was solid when you squeezed it and liquid when you let it go.
The GCU was really fun as I was playing football for most of the time that I was there- this was definitely one of my favourite parts.
