Arriving at the Backpack

 

First day in Cape Town, It's amazing! We arrived yesterday and we're shocked by how happy and welcoming the staff at the backpack hostel were.  The room is brilliant, and we have plenty of space for our overflowing suitcases. The congregation area has a breathtaking view of the "lions head" of table mountain. The whole place is spanking clean and has - to our surprise - no creepy crawleys. There are also plenty of washing areas and a pool table where things get a little competitive between pupils and staff.
