First day at Welcome

When we arrived at the school all the children were super excited to see us! We felt overwhelmed because there was so many children who wanted hugs, high fives and pictures. 

We got separated into classrooms and the children were doing maths, grade 3a where doing counting in multiples of 5 and grade 4a where doing subtracting, the children were really excited to show us what they'd been learning. In the classes the children where showing us some games that they played and it was so interesting! 

When interval came all the children where attached to us like Velcro. Every time we brought out our phones or cameras, the kids instantly asked for their photo to be taken and posed like crazy. 

After interval ended we went back inside to the staff room and had a lovely spread that was generously put on by the staff and headteacher.

 Definitely needed the scones with jam and cream. All in all, we are really excited to go back tomorrow to teach the kids.
