Touchdown in Cape Town

Today we arrived in Cape Town and checked into the Backpackers Hostel around 3pm.  We had a very long but smooth journey on Turkish Airlines and enjoyed some fine turkish cuisine from scrambled egg to rice pudding at various times of the night! Nonetheless, we all arrived safe and well and were met by oor pal Mario from the GCU organisation. We had a guided tour of the surrounding area of Cape Town en route to the Backpack. 

Tonight we enjoyed some pizza from Scooters takeaway and chilled in the social area playing pool and accessing the wifi to share adventures of the journey so far!!! Tomorrow is an early rise to go to the aquarium at the Waterfront followed by the Langa Township Tour. There are lots of tired teens tonight but we are very excited for our adventure to start...
