GCU

After a morning of teaching at Welcome Primary and a much needed lunch break we headed to the GCU at Woodland Primary School. The GCU offers various sporting activities to entice the children to stay away from gang violence and drugs.

We had the privilege of joining them today by participating in many of the activities such as football, dancing and extreme skipping. We also got to look at the impact Mr. McGuckin's previous visits had.
Mr Airlie donned his Celtic shirt to showcase some impressive skills.

Daniel scored two goals and Alex had a cheeky off the line clearance which certainly impressed a few.
Meanwhile off the football pitch we witnessed some impressive skipping, including backflips, handstands and other teckers. Also Mr Booth joined in the dance class busting some great moves and also posing for the great Gruffalo impression.

It was a great experience and we would love to return, everyone was sad to leave.
